On 8/2/2020 we attended an important conference about "lignite phase-out" process of the Western Macedonia region in Greece (4 plants until 2023) and the just transition to the new era of renewables and sustainable development (around 4 billion euros investments). There is a lot to be done in a short time frame and the success of this complex project for Greece depends on many factors. But, if it's implemented properly, it can become a supreme model for Europe and the world.
