EcoVibes P.C., founded in 2019 and based in Edessa, Greece, is a dynamic consulting firm in the broader field of sustainability, with an international presence. We specialize in helping corporate clients and public bodies, including EU-funded projects, to measure, understand, and manage the environmental impact of their products, services, and operations.

Our expertise encompasses natural resources and waste management, green technology applications and certifications, as well as environmental impact measurement, supported by a collaborative network of scientists, engineers and sector specialists. ANTONIOS VALTSIS

Antonios Valtsis is an Environmentalist - Environmental Engineer, who graduated from the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources Management, University of Ioannina (now Department of Environmental Engineering, University of Patras (Law 4610/2019)) and holds an Integrated MSc from the same School.

He has worked in a wide range of private and public entities (S.A., Social Cooperatives, Municipalities, Regional Units, NGOs) and has over 15 years of experience in research, assessment and implementation of environmental projects and consulting. He also regularly attends seminars to keep up with ongoing changes in his field and specializes in Sustainability Analysis, Environmental Certification & Innovation . He is a Professional Engineering License Holder (Law 3316/2005), Category 27 - Environmental Assessments (Register No. 27322).

 

ALEXANDROS LIAPIS

Alexandros Liapis is a Civil Engineer who graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has a PhD in Civil Engineering from the same institute, in the field of environmental profiling (Life Cycle Assessment) of building materials. He also holds an MSc from the Faculty of Agriculture of Aristotle University, in “Water Resources Management”. He has studied the compatibility of man-made environment (infrastructures, crops) with natural environment, with the aid of standardized assessment tools.

For the past 7 years, he has worked as a professional engineer and collaborated as a consultant with the Laboratory of Building Materials of Aristotle University, in the field of new and traditional building materials’ applications and environmental assessment.

 

THEOCHARIS KARTSOLIS

Theocharis Kartsolis is an Environmental Consultant who has a diploma in Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Democritus University of Thrace and holds an Integrated MSc from the same School.

He has over 10 years of work experience in the fields of Waste Management and Environmental Monitoring with different companies, organizations and agencies. He has operated environmental structures such as Landfill Sites and Wastewater Treatment Plants. He is involved in projects including greenhouse gas emissions reduction, biofertilizer production and environmental software engineering.

 

FOTINI KESIKIDOU

Fotini Kesikidou is a Civil Engineer from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She currently conducts her PhD thesis on the utilization of industrial by-products in building materials. She has participated in over 8 research projects on the use of materials with low environmental footprint in construction.

For the past 6 years, she has been working as an engineer and research assistant at the Laboratory of Building Materials of Aristotle University.

 

ANTONIOS MILIADIS

Antonios Miliadis is a Frontend Developer and a graduate of the Hellenic Open University (HOU) majoring in "Computer Science with a focus on Web Development". He has worked in web application development with various coding languages.

The subject of his work at EcoVibes includes the development of environmental web-based applications.

 

PENELOPE GIANTSI

Penelope Giantsi is a Geographer and a graduate of the University of the Aegean (Mytilene). She has studied the impact of landscape composition on the abundance of an entomological pest, utilizing geospatial data analysis tools. 

She also holds a Certificate of Pedagogical and Teaching Competence, and part of her work involves the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).  She contributes as a Researcher in EU-funded projects.

 

EMMANOUELA BOLGOURA

Emmanouela Bolgoura is a Civil Engineer, a graduate of the School of Engineering at the University of Thessaly, where she also obtained an Integrated MSc. Over the past year, she has worked as a supervisor in the field of industrial design (electromechanical construction and store fit-outs), and has also gained experience in public works.

She is currently engaged in research on environmental programs, primarily on European and municipal ones, as well as in sustainable environmental management.

 

DARJA STRELAN MAZEIKE

Darja Mazeike is an Environmental Engineer and LCA Specialist who holds a BSc in General Engineering and a MSc in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), with a specialisation in sustainability and life cycle assessment. Her MSc thesis investigated the environmental impacts of producing Asparagopsis red algae in Denmark.

She has experience across both process-based and IO-LCA methodologies, applied to a range of sectors including consumer products, building renovation, and municipal carbon footprinting. At EcoVibes, she contributes as a Young Researcher and LCA Specialist.
