In the context of the FORTE project "Supply and application of fiber crops for sustainable soil remediation and bio-based raw material production for industrial uses", the assessment study under the subject "Environmental and social sustainability of the supply chain stages from the field (flax, kenaf and hemp crop) to the final product (particleboards and insulation panels)" was completed.

More specifically, the following final deliverables were developed:

D4.2. Hotspot analysis of the life cycle of each crop, using the Life Cycle Assessment methodology
D4.3. Development of alternative scenarios and proposal of optimal solutions for the future
D4.4. Development of social indices and corresponding indicators for a Social Life Cycle Assessment
